  Family Week
March 14-20

Beginning the evening of the 14th we will not be having any planned church activities (including Wednesday evening). We hope you will take this week to enjoy spending time with your family. We will have devotional and activity ideas available for you and your family.

Tickets are $3 per person/$10 family max and can be purchased in the church office or from a member of the Sportsman Outreach Team.

 FAMILY FISHING FUN

ANOTHER FAMILY EVENT is coming February 28. “Hook, Line, and Sinker” is a family fun night for all ages at the church from 4 PM to 7 PM. There will be food, fun fishing activities for all ages, fishing seminars, FISHING PROS, and vendors from businesses who deal in the fishing industry. PLUS, DOOR PRIZES FOR ALL AGES. Our Sports Outreach team has put together a great evening...so grab your kids and grandkids, friends and neighbors, and especially your fishing buddies for “Hook, Line, and Sinker.”
  The Power of the Cross

Join us for the Musical The Power of the Cross on Palm Sunday in both morning services. The intrigue of the passion story is coupled with high-energy celebration of its relevance for believers today.

There’s still time to join the choir.
Please join us Sundays at 4:30pm

 3/7 The Student Showcase has been rescheduled to Sunday March 7th in order to allow more people to attend and more students to participate. Students will present artwork, music, skits, projects and more. The Showcase will be in the auditorium at 6pm followed by dinner. No tickets are required to attend, however we do ask for you to RSVP for the dinner by contacting the office 732-1405 ext 203, or emailing Dan at calvarymostudents@sbcglobal.net

3/5 The Amazing Race Lock-in is almost here! Friday March 5th, 10pm until 5am on Saturday @ Chesterfield Family Recreation Center (2511 W. Republic Rd, west of Kansas Expressway). The cost is $15 per person and will cover all activities and food for the evening. Students will be awake the entire night with competitions and games themed after the show Amazing Race. The night will include swimming, rock climbing, worship, and friends. Students need to pick up a permission form or download them from our website. Adult volunteers are still needed. Transportation is not provided for this event.

3/12 Wednesday Night Live! Youth Service 6pm – Extra music, extra skits, extra games, extra special!


3/12 The band Last Place will be in our Hangar Student Center on Friday, March 12, at 8pm for a free concert. They are from Kansas City and you can check out their music at www.lastplaceworship.com .

3/14-3/20 The Week of the Family – no evening ministries or activities @ Calvary.

3/26-27 “Blaze” is the theme of this year’s Dare2Share youth conference in St. Louis, Mo. March 26-27. Tickets to attend are $55 per person. We will be staying overnight in homes with family members of Dan & Tory. We have several students and adult sponsors already signed up, but we have room for more. We will leave Calvary on Friday 3/26 at noon. (Republic is on spring break, other students will need early dismissals). We return to Calvary very late on Saturday night, so that we may be home for the special music program at Calvary on Palm Sunday. The youth conference features great speakers, music, drama, worship, and about 10,000 teens from Missouri and surrounding states. Coming in April – 4/10 - Man Challenge Day & Ladies Day out activities – great for Father/Sons and Mother/Daughters and friends across the generations! Watch for more details.
