MIDWEEK ADULT CLASSES
Classes We Offer This Fall
-
Fellowship of Moms
A group for busy moms looking for fellowship and focused study time while kids are taken care of in Awana. Join Lisa and the other moms as they venture through life together.
-
Defending the Faith
The purpose of this class is to prepare saints to contend for and defend the faith. It will be a teaching and discussion format and cover important topics throughout the Bible. The end result for the participant will be a greater knowledge of the entire Bible, an understanding of doctrinal apostasies within Christiandom today, and who is teaching them.
-
Developing a Powerful Prayer Life
Join other men & women who recognize the importance and power of prayer and desire to become closer with God; to intercede for ourselves and others, and to see Him work according to His power and will.
-
Rooted
The Rooted experience is a 10-week course designed to bring powerful rhythms of discipleship into the life of each member. Built around the 7 rhythms of a disciple, Rooted creates intentional discipleship experiences that help people cross over from knowledge of the Bible to experiences with God.
-
Grief Share
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
-
Embrace Grace
Embrace Grace helps churches support single, pregnant young women and their families with practical, spiritual, and emotional care. By sharing a message of love, we empower women to choose life while pursuing their dreams. Being pro-life is a belief; being pro-love is action—showing Christ’s love in a tangible way. Together, we can make abortion unthinkable.
-
Discovering Calvary
A new option for those who can’t make a Sunday afternoon Discovering Calvary. This three week class will answer all your questions about Calvary: who we are, what we believe, how to get involved, & how to become a member. Pastor Fred will share and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions in a small group setting. If you miss a night, you can attend that session the following month - all three sessions must be attended to complete the Discovering Calvary course.
